What happened to your tip?

When a user submits a tip it goes into our database and awaits review. As soon as it is reviewed and approved it will show up with the animal record.

Tips (which include additional information) are displayed at the bottom of the animal page. Tips can be reviewed by other users for approximately 30 days. If during that time there is a strong majority of users who agree with it - it will be merged with the animal record and the submittor will be credited with the addition. If there is a not a strong percentage of votes agreeing with the tip - it will be placed in the forums for further debate.

If your tip was previously displayed on an animal page and is now gone it will be either merged into the animal record or in the forums.
